The purpose of the church is to worship God and study His Word, pray love one another help each other partake of baptism and the Lord's supper and to learn how to live as godly people and to be equipped to evangelize the world. *To guard the proper teachings of the church * To discipline believers *To be subject to pastoral leadership Join people of different backgrounds and talents and provide them training and opportunities for God's work. It accomplishes this both internally, within the body, and externally, in the world.
