Wide Open Spaces Trust

The purposes and aims of the Trust are to devote or apply both capital and income of the Trust Fund to or for any charitable purposes which are from time to time selected by the Trustees and are valid charitable purposes. Without limiting this in any way such purposes may also include the advancement of education, the advancement of religion and providing benefit to the community by: a) promoting the teachings of Jesus Christ; b) providing a safe, stimulating and meaningful outdoor experience for youth, oriented around Christian teaching; c) supporting youth groups in discipleship and evangelism ministries; d) promoting the personal growth and confidence of youth with a view to enabling them to more fully contribute to their church and community; and e) training guides in outdoor pursuits and Christian ministry with a view to carrying out the purposes expressed in a) to d) above.
