Whakatane Museum and Arts Charitable Trust

Our purpose is to raise and receive funds for the redevelopment of the Whakatane Museum and Research Centre; promote and stimulate awareness of the importance of preserving the Whakatane District's cultural heritage; promote community awareness of the Trust by means of community engagement opportunities; to raise and administer funds to benefit and strengthen collection, exhibition and arts related activities with the Museum and Arts Community.
