The Western Bay Museum’s charitable purpose is to conserve, preserve, rehome, catalogue and display items of relevance from the past as taonga, and telling stories of those who call our place 'home'. Each year we create and host exhibitions, programmes, Te Rā o Waitangi Whānau Festival , Matariki and activities that bring in over 14,000 visitors per annum (local, regional, national and international)
