Wai-O-Turi Marae Trust

Wai-o-Turi Trustees are responsible for the overall governance and day to day operational matters concerning the Marae including upholding & promoting the Marae's protocols and kawa, encouraging whanau to participate in the life of the Marae, maintenance and upkeep of the facilities including the puna, urupa, paddocks and accessways. The facilities are available to whanau, hapu and iwi who affiliate to the reserve, Taranaki-Whanganui iwi, local community including schools, clubs, local and central government and so on. We also provide programmes to local schools on the history of the Marae and its people. All Marae facilities are disability accessible.
