For over 50 years, Upper Hutt Parents Centre has been supporting parents with everything from pregnancy and childbirth, to raising infants and toddlers. We are part of national organisation, Parents Centres New Zealand Inc., along with a network of other centres around the country. Parents Centre is now the largest provider of childbirth and parent education in New Zealand. As an organisation, it is our mission to support positive birth experiences and informed parenting in a community where parents are highly valued in their roles. We achieve this through providing childbirth education classes, other parent education programmes, community activities for parents, and parenting information and advocacy.
