Tūmanako Charitable Trust

Tūmanako Charitable Trust was born out of the desire of likeminded people wanting to make a difference as a response to Cyclone Gabriel specifically to the Rural areas of Rissington, Patoka & Puketitiri. A very generous Donor from the South Island contacted me to ask what difference he could make especially where Insurance and Government funding/cover was absent. The intent was to care for the Rural communities to help with the recovery and at the same time enable and lead resilience as many were not only financially affected but also emotionally effected and spent. This is where I handpicked trusted locally based and community focused people to be part of the Tūmanako journey. It is helpful to note that Tūmanako means "New Hope & a fresh beginning." So Tūmanako Charitable Trust was established and has blessed many in a huge variety of ways.
