To provide scholarship(s) to enable one or more New Zealand residents, who are also citizens to undertake a course of study in the general areas of home science, nutrition, household arts, family care and welfare. To provide funds to enable the publication of information by way of books, articles and visual and other means with the project of promoting public benefit from an increased awareness of all or any advances in the knowledge and teaching in the general areas mentioned above.
