Promote education and conduct research in NZ through contributing to the educational and research facilities by: (i) a lasting transformational effect on individuals that enables them to positively influence society through excellence in their respective skill areas; and (ii) providing programmes for those who are likely to have come from disadvantaged backgrounds and where for whatever reason, mainstream schooling and/or alternative education has failed them; and (iii) provide practical learning to hold the learner's interest and restore their faith in their ability to learn; and (iv) promote a culture of Whānau Ora where people can be encouraged to move toward academic excellence. (v) Create a culture where students attracted to the Transformation Academy experience good role models and mentoring, (vi) Instil a culture of vocation, purpose and self-worth by encouraging the use of skills that are unique to the student
