To reduce the incidence of blood borne viruses, such as Hepatitis C and HIV amongst people who choose to inject drugs in the South Canterbury and Mid Canterbury region of New Zealand by using effective harm reduction strategies. To support people who choose to inject drugs in the decisions they make regarding their health and well being. To inform and network with other health services and the wider community about blood borne viruses and to reduce stigma around people who choose to inject drugs, by using education and advocacy.
