To promote the welfare of animals; to prevent ill treatment to and the relief of suffering of animals; to meet all or part of the cost of the veterinary care of animals of persons who are unable to afford to pay for the veterinary care. In deciding on eligibility, the Trustees shall be entitled to rely on the professional decisions and/or the advice and guidance of a veterinarian in any case for the provision of appropriate veterinary care to an animal.
