The Waikato Tree Trust

The trust was set up to provide an opportunity for members to undertake any environmental action from advocacy to education to specific environmental projects. The trust deed is specifically broad to enable a wide range of opportunities to be initiated. Although we have been pretty quiet over the past few years we have still undertaken iititives such as funding bat monitors for the public to use, Timms Traps for the public to use; advocating fro the public around street trees and protected trees in Hamilton City
