About The Ross Memorial Fund
This Trust was established by deed on 31st July 1946 by the children of the Ross Family, whose father, Sir John Ross, was co-founder of Ross & Glendining Ltd. Originally for the benefit of past and present employees of the company, the trust was subsequently amended on 27th June 1995 as per an Approval of a Scheme pursuant to Part III of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957. The objects were altered to firstly the care, recreation and recovery of the residents of Ross Home Dunedin, then to Presbyterian Support Services (Otago) for general charitable purposes.
