The purpose and aims of the Trust include:

(a) To educate the public about Carbon Emissions, the relevant science and the actions that can be taken to moderate or neutralise the adverse consequences on the environment and the climate, of high levels of carbon emissions being released into the atmosphere.

(b) To generate support for viable solutions in New Zealand to the effects of Carbon Emissions and climate change, and to sponsor forums, publications and messages about those solutions.

(c) To undertake activities that provide for the sequestration of Carbon Emissions, in conjunction with public bodies and other persons.
