The R13 Youth Development Trust

To guide at risk children by promoting positive growth and development through the use of adults as mentors. To hold young people accountable for offending and or illegal activities. To improve the young persons self esteem by offering a community based education/ life skills programme. To improve, if necessary, the young person's behaviour and attitude towards their parents, siblings, whanau, iwi and the wider community. To provide the opportunity to participate in wholesome recreational outlets and other social experiences and to assist the young person in their adjustment academically, socially and behaviourally in the school environment. To support the parents of the young person in accordance with the aims of the Trust. To recruit volunteers to assist wit the R13 Trust Programmes. To promote and advance the R13 Trust's programmes, values and commitment to the community.
