The New Zealand Urban Art Trust

The purposes of The New Zealand Urban Art Trust are to devote or apply both capital and income of the trust fund to, or for, any charitable purpose in New Zealand, which are from time to time selected by the Trustees and are valid charitable purposes. Without limiting this in any way such purposes may include: a) To uphold, maintain and promote the education and learning of visual arts (commonly known as "Urban Art" or "Street Art" and typically encompassing social comment, protest and hunour) by the public of New Zealand; b) To provide prizes and sponsorship for school pupils for such visual Urban/Street Art competitions; c) To provide facilities and resources to enable the public to participate in such visual Urban/Street Art competitions and exhibitions.
