The Metropolitan Cathedral of the Sacred Heart Music Trust

The Metropolitan Cathedral of the Sacred Heart Building designed by Francis Petre in 1905 has become known as a building of excellence for the performance of music. The Metropolitan Cathedral of the Sacred Heart Music Trust aims to support and promote the performance of music to the congregation and wider community at the Metropolitan Cathedral. The Trust also aims to provide musical training to singers and support the Cathedral being a venue for all music performed in Te Whanganui-a-Tara .
