To assist people in New Zealand, in particular members of the Hawkes Bay community, experiencing poverty and hardship in their lives by: - providing grants to individuals to assist with day-to-day expenses, including food and accommodation; - providing assistance in the case of adverse events; - providing funding for educational and vocational courses; - facilitating employment opportunities; and - supporting community activities.
