About The Fletcher Trust
The Fletcher Trust '(Trust') has three principal objects - Philanthropy, Art Collection and Archive. The philanthropic mission of the Trust is a focus on supporting new initiatives in education that have the potential to positively impact on large numbers of young New Zealanders. The Trust's purpose with its Art Collection, comprising a significant number of NZ artworks, is to maintain, enhance and promote what represents a unique record of the history of NZ art. The Trust's purpose with its Archive is to maintain and continue to provide public access to records of an extensive number of businesses and enterprises across all sectors and which provide a unique social and commercial history of NZ from the mid-nineteenth century to the present day.
