To acquire heritage and historic buildings in the Henderson area of Auckland City, for the benefit of the public. To allow said buildings to be used for purposes beneficial to the community. To relocate where necessary, and restore as near to their original condition as is financially and practically possible, the said historic buildings for the benefit of the public. To acquire and restore works of art and other heritage treasures and historical records which will promote the heritage and history of the Henderson area. To record any sound recordings, film, video, print, computer or other recording method the oral history of the Henderson area. To promote education and knowledge of the history of the buildings, and other heritage treasures of the Henderson area, including the general early history of the area and the early history of other parts of New Zealand. To do any other project of a charitable nature that will benefit the community of Henderson.
