The Eastern European Orthodox Church (Nelson)

1. To provide Religious Church and Charitable Services to the Eastern European Orthodox Community as well as to ALL others who are interested in the Orthodox faith and traditions. 2. To arrange Official Orthodox Celebrants to come to Nelson to officiate at Religious Services of Divine Liturgy and other Religious and family services such as Weddings, Christenings and Funerals. 3. To advance, promote and pass on to others the Religion, Faith, Traditions and Cultural Heritage of the Eastern European Orthodox Church to the Eastern European Orthodox Community of all ages as well as to ALL others in the Community who may be interested in the Orthodox Faith. 4. To provide Pastoral Care, help, and the feeling of Community belonging within the church by being attentive to its members needs as and when required. 5. To provide cultural understanding within the Nelson community by way of the Church's participation in Community Cultural Events within the District.
