About The Dame Jane Foundation
The Dame Jane Foundation (TDJF) was established in 2010 with the primary intention to improve women's health, in particular maternal mortality outcomes. The Foundation’s operations support the Millennium Development Goals of reducing child mortality and improving maternal health by funding medical training programmes in hospitals and other projects that address major women's health concerns. Further aligns with SDGs Goal 3: Ensure healthy lives & promote well being for all at all ages. Further Social Entrepreneurial is our focus, Clinical focus secondary "Skills in health to deliver". By improving health and survival rates for women and the babies.The Foundations Work can also contribute to other important UN Sustainable Development Goals, such as promoting gender equality and empowering women.
