The Community Performing Arts Trust

The primary and main purpose of the Trust will be to establish a Trust Fund, and to apply the Trust Fund for charitable purposes, which shall include, but not limited to: (a) Developing and strengthening communities through creative projects; (b) Creating performing arts events which are politically and socially relevant; (c) Providing accessible and affordable arts experiences for the widest possible audience; (d) Championing lesser heard voices within the performing arts community; (e) Fostering and supporting the development of young theatre practitioners by providing opportunities to contribute to the Trust’s activities; (f) Encouraging and facilitating community participation in the performing arts; and (g) Championing the role and value of arts and artists in society.
