To enable Cawthron Institute to receive the benefit of bequests, gifts, and endowments for the following purposes: • to develop science for the public good; • to initiate, develop and deliver educational programmes which further scientific knowledge; • to enhance its profile of scientific research by effective promotion, marketing and co-operation; • to establish and provide scholarships to promote the furthering of scientific knowledge and practices.
