To preserve and promote Motoring History/Heritage in New Zealand and, in so doing to actively assist where practical with the education of the public in the Motoring History/Heritage and driving skills and safety aspect and to support the communities and councils wherever possible within New Zealand. To perpetuate the memory of Bruce McLaren and other drivers through Motor Clubs and other business and community opportunities, in so far that this will further preserve and promote Motoring History/Heritage in New Zealand. To work towards and assist with the formation of a permanent Memorial to Bruce McLaren, in so far that this will further preserve and promote Motoring History/Heritage in New Zealand. To be the guardian and curator of memorabilia and to use such memorabilia for the benefit of all New Zealanders. To assist, coordinate and promote the restoration of McLaren Cars or other associated vehicles, with these items to be used and promoted for all New Zealanders.
