Te Teko Community Development Trust

“Hapai Te Teko - Uplift Te Teko” is the vision statement for the TTCDT. The main objective is to provide effective services through culturally appropriate programmes and practices for the well-being of the Te Teko community, the Rangitaiki district and surrounding areas. The TTCDT aims to be the leading provider of support and guidance in terms of social service provision of delivery in Te Teko. The mission statement and part of the Trusts objectives is to improve the Social, Cultural and Economic Welfare of the people within the community of Te Teko, the Rangitaiki district and surrounding areas. Central to this aim is the application of Maori centred values, customs and practices (which includes language) as an intervention mechanism to address the disparity gaps with the wider mainstream population.
