Te Taki Tu Charitable Trust embraces the concept of championing, mentoring, stimulating and enabling Whaanau, Community and social innovation within South Auckland and in particular the Franklin region - unleashing extensive and broad potential, empowering our whanau, ensuring healthy families and whanau ora, healthy minds and healthy living through holistic Matauranga Maori and Te Ao Maaori practices. We are especially focussed on whānau connecting with their language, culture and history on their own terms, and making sure that these things are valued that affect positive behavioural and lifestyle change for Whaanau.
