The objects and purposes of the Trust are to educate and cultivate seeds of potential of people and whenua. The Trust will undertake activities to: support Kaupapa Māori education, research, and development; support the relief of poverty; promote recovery, healing, and well-being; revitalise place-based knowledge systems of growing kai, rongoā and cultural identity; empower people to find their voice, express their unique identity and potentialise their mana motuhake; strengthen whakapapa relationships and intergenerational connection to the whenua and Te Ao Turoa.
