Relief of poverty and other purposes beneficial to Maori people and others in the community by:

(a) providing housing and opportunity for home ownership, whanau ora and related services to improve lives and the capacity to achieve their goals;

(b) improving health, wellbeing and status;

(c) protecting and promoting the Mauri or life principle and Mana; and

(d) reaffirming cultural values and practices.
