Te Puna Whakareia a Rakeiao Marae

The charitable purpose of Te Puna Whakareia a Rakeiao Marae Trust is to govern, administer and preserve the Marae and Urupa. The Trustees shall in relation to the Marae always have regard to the benefit and well-being of the beneficiaries who are all those persons who whakapapa to Ngati Rangiunuora hapu. Use of marae is for tangihanga, hurakohatu, poukai, marena, wananga, huihuinga, huritau, whakangahau, manaki manuhiri, Iwi taketake, schools, sports, kapahaka practices, polling booth and in civil defense emergency.
