Education and Research To provide education and training of people in relation to: a. marine biodiversity and the state of the marine environment; b. native forestry, rivers and other terrestrial activity and their effect on the marine environment; in Waihau Bay and surrounding areas in New Zealand To promote functional relationships with iwi groups, Government Departments and other organisations in the east Coast and Bay of Plenty involved with similar programmes to that of the Trust. To promote functional relationships with funders and other community stakeholders to financially fulfil the purposes of the Trust. Any other charitable purpose to advance the charitable purposes or the Trust or any of the objects None of the purposes of the Trust will be Limited or Restricted and Subsidiary or Ancillary
