To be culturally, socially, economically and politically self sufficient so that the Marae can sustain the future wellbeing of our Whanau, Hapu and Iwi: To maintain, develop and restore Te Poho o Rawiri Marae as an operational and functioning Maori Community Centre. To maintain positive Marae relationships that will accelerate the development of whanau, Hapu and Iwi. To undertake annual consultation with the Iwi of Ngati Oneone, Ngati Porou, Rongowhakaata, Te Aitanga a Mahaki and Ngai Tamanuhiri about the goals and aspirations of Te Poho o Rawiri Marae. To maintain the Marae Buildings and facilities in good order. To offer Tangata Whenua and Manuhiri safe, hygienic, clean and tidy conditions. Bew fully compliant with local body ad other health and safety regulations in relation to Marae equipment, facilities and grounds.
