Te Kotahitanga E Mahi Kaha Trust (TKEMKT) has a track record of delivering programmes that improve the social, cultural, environmental and economic outcomes for local people in the Kaikohe region. TKEMKT was established on 1986 and registered as a PTE with the New Zealand Qualifications Authority in 1991. TKEMKT has three operating activities: • Education and training • Youth and whanau support services • Health and fitness TKEMKT provides a range of whanau well-being programmes for local people – predominantly Maori with low or no qualification and multiple barriers to successful employment or further progressive training.
