To promote, enhance and advance tangata whenua's ability to realise their full potential. To establish, maintain and monitor the quality management systems of the Society. To network with all other tangata whenua agencies that have similar objects to the Society. To provide education, training and information to tangata whenua. To recognise the uniqueness and autonomy of Whanau, Hapu and Iwi.
