To preserve and protect the integrity of traditional Maori health practices, and provide safe, high quality rongoa services in the spirit of whanaungatanga. AIMS 1) To provide education about traditional Maori healing. 2) To provide and support health and community welfare programmes which include traditional Maori health practices, 'culture as healing', spirituality, creativity and/or respect for the natural world. 3) To foster indigenous health and wellbeing, cultural expression and self-determination through cross-cultural exchange programmes. 4) To preserve and protect the integrity of traditional Maori health practices and rongoa (medicines).
