Welcome visitors and newcomers including former refugees to Ōtepoti Dunedin and to Aotearoa New Zealand. Provide opportunity for locals to engage in manaakitanga through the hosting of community engagement powhiri. Be a model of collaborative and inclusive community leadership. Uphold the values of acceptance of diversity, empathy, tolerance and inclusion. Uphold and promote tikanga, te Reo Māori and manaakitanga. Encourage and foster collaboration with schools and like-minded groups.
