As an organisation we seek to empower tamariki, rangatahi and whānau to reverse cycles of hardship and create positive opportunities for themselves within the context of their cultural identity through the application of reo me ngā tikanga Māori MOEMOEĀ Whānau are looking to the future. Whānau are developing goals and aspirations for their lives as individuals and as a group. Whānau are engaging in activities that work towards their vision for the future, e.g., education, employment. HAUORA Whānau protect and nurture their own hauora. Whānau are respectful of the hauora of people around them. Whānau areconsiderate of taha wairua, taha hinengaro, taha whānau, and taha tinana as described by Durie’s Whare Tapa Whā. MANA MOTUHAKE Whānau are confident their decisions and actions can positively impact their journey. Whānau are transitioning out of THO programmes into mana-enhancing pathways. Whānau have strategies to work through challenges.
