The purpose of the Trust is to advance the wellbeing, inclusion, and independence of people with disabilities by providing support and opportunities that enable them to live self-determined, meaningful lives as valued members of their communities.
In achieving this purpose, the Trust will: * support people with disabilities to identify for themselves what a good life looks like and to take steps toward achieving their goals and aspirations * encourage and enable participation in community life, including employment, volunteering, work experience / training, education, recreation, and cultural activities * foster personal growth, confidence, and self-advocacy through group programmes * promote social inclusion, equity, and the removal of barriers that limit full participation in society * work collaboratively with whānau, community organisations, government agencies, and others who share these aims
