Exists to promote tamariki and rangatahi growing up with a strong sense of their identity, purpose and potential within healthy whanau and community. The social determinants of the Tairawhiti population continues to decline, especially for Maori and for youth. Te Aka Ora Charitable Trust remains committed to the most vulnerable families in the community, despite all the challenges, commitment to service remains.
