About Te Ahurei Ora
The purpose and the emerge of a Charitable Trust was established from the ongoing increase of imprisonment for Māori and Pasifika. The design is based on the effects of becoming institutionalised.
We aim to provide a range of legal services and support in advocation for Māori in all areas of legal proceedings including youth and young families.
This is tied with the holistic well-being, culturally diverse and inclusive of the entire basic needs of a human under the Human Rights Act 1993.
A strong emphasis in tikanga within business potentials for Māori, a re-engagement of education and parenting techniques for vulnerable families.
The dynamics of our teachings are designed to assist the general public including Māori and Pasifika who have suffered a violent history and are now living with the defects of childhood trauma.
The holistic well being to provide support for Māori who seek to succeed to Māori land shares or face complications within family trusts.
