Taumarunui Youth and Community Trust

The Taumarunui Youth and Community Trust (TYCT) was established in 2016 as a charitable trust to support and strengthen the Taumarunui community. TYCT’s vision is for Taumarunui to be a strong, cohesive, vibrant, and active community where people of all ages can thrive. To achieve this, TYCT provides an umbrella for, and facilitates the delivery of, a wide range of sporting, recreational, cultural, and community initiatives. Our purpose is to improve the well-being of our community by creating and supporting opportunities that enhance educational, social, cultural, vocational, and physical activity outcomes. TYCT is committed to working collaboratively with partners to develop quality opportunities that foster participation, connection, and long-term community resilience.
