Tasman Golf Incorporated is to assist Golf Clubs in the Tasman Region with Affiliation to the governing body NZ Golf, to assist in securing uniformity in handicapping in accordance with the New Zealand course rating and handicapping system. Uphold the rules of Golf. Foster growth and development of Golf in the region. Encourage and develop elite performance of our players. Encourage and enable participation, arrange and control, interclub, inter-region or inter-provincial events and competitions within its territory. Represent the region at meetings of the parent body. Exercise in its territory such of the powers set by NZ Golf as may be delegated to it. Assist member clubs pursuant to their aims, objectives and interests when requested.
