To create trails suitable for walking and cycling within Taranaki including one circumnavigating Mt Taranaki. Carry out all those actions necessary for their long term future and use. Preservation of the environment adjacent to such trails. Encouraging community involvement and enjoyment of the above. To co-ordinate regional leadership and partnerships between those stakeholders interested in these purposes. Advance education, knowledge and the history of Taranaki and its people.
