To encourage, promote and nurture a healthy lifestyle, Auahi Kore, increased physical activity and improved nutrition through water activities in particular Waka Ama and all things incidental thereto, within New Plymouth and surrounding area of the Taranaki region. To develop a love and passion, by a broad range of people, in paddling Polynesian and Maori designed Waka for competitive, cultural and recreational purposes throughout New Zealand and the world. To promote good family practices, values and healthy lifestyles within an environment of mutual respect.
