To further child development and care training programmes in New Plymouth and elsewhere as the Trustees may from time to time desire so as to enhance the level of work readiness by providing behaviouraI skills necessary for working life. To enhance the likelihood and then finding suitable employment by enabling them to acquire the vocational skills required for working effectively in the early childhood and special needs areas of education and care. To provide a practical and theoretical skill base for further vocational training in areas of early childhood and special needs education and care.
