Key Priorities 1. Build the Base: Our goal is to drive and enhance the joy of swimming, boost participation, eliminate any hindrances to competition, and work hand in hand with regional Learn to Swim programs. 2. Promote Competitive Success: Boost participation rates among different age groups and high-performance swimmers by efficiently coordinating the maximum allocated swim meets per season. Provide technical officials with necessary training and support for continued involvement. 3. Ensure Sound Governance: Maintain clear and transparent governance, create, and uphold policies and procedures, and offer accessible resources to Member Clubs. 4. Improve Financial Performance: Maximise yearly earnings by boosting revenue, managing expenses effectively, and nurturing strong connections with crucial stakeholders and supporters. 5. Advocate: Ensure the voice of Swimming Otago is heard in decision-making for our sport.
