(a) To promote sustainability education and care of the environment with an action-focus (b) To provide a forum and network for the facilitation of sustainability education of adults and households, including training of trainers. (c) To develop and strengthen partnerships with Government, persons, bodies or programmes whose aims directly or indirectly promote the objectives of the Trust, in order to support a coordinated and inclusive approach to the development of sustainability education in NZ communities and schools. (d) To develop and maintain educational programmes, print materials, media broadcasts and websites which (i) promote values of, and action that enhances, environmental sustainability in NZ, especially in local government and community life (ii) recognise cultural diversity within the population of Aotearoa NZ (iii) take a Treaty-based approach to communicating both Maori and tau-iwi cultural perspectives on the environment
