It consists of a congregation of members who worship and witness as Christian people, cooperating together and following the traditions of the NZ Methodist and NZ Presbyterian Churches. There are also many in the Woodville district who although not part of the regular congregation regard the congregations that formed it (St David's Presbyterian and Woodville Methodist) as their church of origin
