The purposes set out in our deed are: (a)to promote recognition, understanding and education of children and adults with dyslexia and similar conditions (b) the establishment of a support group in the South Waikato for children with learning needs, including dyslexia, and their parents and guardians and families and others that are involved in their education (c) to assist parents and others, including schools and educators, involved with learning needs including children and adults with dyslexia, by encouraging their mutual support, and by providing financial assitance, educational material, practical equipment, counselling and other appropriate assitance.
