South Catlins Charitable Trust

To develop and promote the Catlins as a place to visit, live and work. To provide and facilitate the establishment of public utilities, equipment, local community facilities and services for the benefit of residents and visitors to the South Catlins. To provide opportunities for community education and training within the South Catlins, including environmental education. To encourage the establishment of enterprise and employment opportunities in the South Catlins. To promote the scenic, heritage, environmental and cultural features of the South Catlins. To foster the sustainable management of natural and physical resources of the South Catlins for the benefit of the local and wider community. To encourage community pride and community participation through by the establishment and operation of community events within the South Catlins. (see Trust Deed for further details)
